In 1669 Elisha Robinson, the minor canon who had been appointed Bibliothecarius, received money from the Treasurer for materials for the creation of a catalogue of the Library.[1]
March 22. To Mr Robinson for a paper booke to write a Catalogue for the Bookes in the Library — [£]0–3–4'.
A catalogue of the printed books appears not to survive but the 1671 catalogue of manuscripts (DCc/LA/1/16) may be part of this project.
