George Kingsley (first half of 17th century) was the son of Archdeacon William Kingsley by whom he was appointed Registrar of the Archdeacon's Court in 1639. His son William Kingsley presented a number of medieval manuscripts to the Chapter Library which he had possibly inherited through his father.
George Kingsley was fined £765–5–0 in December 1647 for 'having been in arms against the Parliament'.[1]
