Philipp Caspar Pfannenstiel (1664–1735) was a Bavarian lawyer who practised in Nuremberg. He made a number of bequests to his home town of Weiden, including his library of over 1,000 books.[1] He used at least two armorial bookplates on his books, one of which is found in a book in the Chapter Library. An elaborate memorial plaque in Weiden outlines his career.
