Bound in brown quarter morocco with oak boards, blind-stamped decoration, by Jack Maple, 1956, signed 19M56.

The first inscription is probably a record of purchase by George Kenyon (1776–1855), 2nd Baron Kenyon, of Gredington, Flintshire or his son Lloyd Kenyon (1805-1869), 3rd Baron Kenyon, at a sale of the library of Iscoyd Park, Flintshire in 1843.

The second inscription records the gift of the book to the Chapter Library in 1956 by William Urry, its Archivist and Librarian.

The book was bound in the Cathedral Bindery by Jack Maple in 1956.
