- Meric Casaubon. Vindicatio patris, adversus impostores. 1624.
- Inscription on leaf A1 preceding title page: C C C.
- Recorded in the Benefactors' Book as a gift to the Chapter Library by Meric Casaubon.
- The second work in the volume (W/R-3-27(2)) has an inscription on the verso of a blank leaf before title page: Guil. Somneri, ex dono Authoris. 1663. The two items were probably brought together after they arrived at the Chapter Library.
