Charles Moore (1743-1811), was appointed a Six Preacher at Canterbury Cathedral in 1792.[1] He was educated at Tonbridge School and St Paul's School, London, and then at Trinity College, Cambridge (1759; B.A. 1764; M.A. 1767; Fellow 1765–1771). He was Rector of Cuxton (Rochester) 1770–1811, Vicar of Sellindge, 1772–96, Vicar of Boughton-under-Blean, 1797–1803, Vicar of St Nicholas and St Clement's, Rochester, 1803–1811.[2]
The Cathedral Library subscribed for a copy of his A Full Inquiry into the Subject of Suicide (1790).
