David Nutt (d. 1868) was a nineteenth-century London publisher and bookseller.
He started in business in 1829 at 58 Fleet Street, London and moved in 1848 to 270–271 Strand. The business was mainly confined to foreign bookselling, though it expanded considerably under the direction of his son to include works of folklore and antiquities. The Cathedral Library probably bought the book directly from him.
