Dr David Wilkins (1685–1745) produced a catalogue in manuscript of the Cathedral's printed books, probably in the 1720s before he took up his Chair at Cambridge in 1724. He had previously compiled catalogues for Archbishop Wake at Lambeth Palace.[1]
