Revd Canon Edward Moore (1835-1916), principal of St Edmund Hall, Oxford, and Canon of Canterbury from 1903 (Stall XI), an Italianist who specialised in Dante. He was an active member of the chapter, taking a special interest in the library as Canon Librarian.[1]
