Sir John Marsham (1602–1685) was an English antiquary who held the office of clerk in Chancery (from 1638). He was dispossessed as a royalist supporter during the Civil War. At the Restoration he was knighted and became M.P. for Rochester. He was made a baronet by Charles II in 1663. His residence was at Whorne's Place in Cuxton, near Rochester. His wife was the daughter of Sir William Hammond of St Albans Court, Nonington.
Marsham appears to have given a copy of his Chronicus to the Chapter Library.
