Thomas Blomer

Thomas Blomer (c.1640–1723) S.T.P. was educated at Westminster School; he studied at Trinity College, Cambridge (admitted 1653; B.A. 1656/7; M.A. 1660; Fellow, 1658; D.D. 1671). He was installed as a canon of Canterbury in 1673 (stall XI). He was also Rector of All Hallows', Bread St, London, 1681–1723. He resigned his canonry in favour of his son Ralph in 1706 and died at Bromley, Kent, in 1723.

This book was presumably given to the Library by Thomas Blomer following his resignation of his canonry in 1706, the gift probably made through his son Ralph who succeeded him in the canonry.
