Thomas Curteis

Thomas Curteis (1706–1775) was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge (1724; B.A. 1727-8; M.A. 1731; D.D. (Lambeth) 1758). His ecclesiastical career is vicar of Kemsing (1739-44), vicar of Rottingdean (1744-51), rector of Sevenoaks (1747-75) in succession to his father, prebendary of Canterbury (1755, Stall XI), rector of St Dionis, Backchurch (1756). He was Canon Treasurer in the 1760s.
