The Jesuit College, Mindelheim was founded in 1618. This date is reported to be found in all its ownership inscriptions.[1]
The book was presented to the Cathedral Library in 1930 by Mrs Edward L. Holland (Millicent Anne Holland, née Boyd, 1856–1959) and had probably belonged to her husband Edward Lancelot Holland (d. 1930) who gave a number of books to the Library in 1904–1914.
