Lacks first 12 leaves.
Leaves from a Sarum breviary used for front and back pastedowns.
Possibly from Henry VIII's library at Westminster Palace, later in the possession of Abp Richard Bancroft (James Carley).
16/17c Oxford blind-stamped binding with centre piece
Trace of label attached to pastedown at top fore edge of front board (Bancroft?).
Cambridge UL shelfmark (1650s) on front pastedown, indicating provenance from Lambeth Palace Library: D.λ.20.
