Edith Joan Somerville

Edith Joan Somerville (1901–1958) was the great-granddaughter of Dean Henry Alford. She was the daughter of the Rev. Philip Paget Somerville and his wife Edith Mary, née Bullock (Mrs P. P. Somerville),the granddaughter of Dean Alford. Joan Somerville gave a quantity of books to the Chapter Library in 1939, many of them inherited through the family and relating to Dean Alford.
