Edward Scudamore

Edward Toke Scudamore (1778–1850), a local medical practitioner, of 16 St George's Place, Canterbury, presented several books to the Cathedral Library at various times between 1839 and 1844. The Gentlemen's Magazine (1850) records the "Death, March 17th, at Canterbury, aged 72, Edward Scudamore, esq. M.D. one of the Physicians of the Kent and Canterbury Hospital."
