Henry Bailey

Dr Henry Bailey (1815–1906) was Warden of St Augustine's College from 1850 to 1875. He was educated at St John's College, Oxford (BA 22nd Wrangler 1839; Tyrwhitt Hebrew Scholar 1841; MA 1842; Fellow 1842; College Lecturer in Hebrew 1848; BD 1849; DD 1870). He was appointed an Honorary Canon of Canterbury in 1863.[1]
