Inscription on front free endpaper: Bibliothecae Capitulari D.D.D. W.G.U. 3 Mar. 1956. - Bound in brown quarter morocco with oak boards, blind-stamped decoration, by Jack Maple, 1956, signed 19M56.
- Inscription on title page: Gredington Library bought at Iscwyd(?) Sale 19 Augst 1843.
- The first inscription is probably a record of purchase by George Kenyon (1776–1855), 2nd Baron Kenyon, of Gredington, Flintshire or his son Lloyd Kenyon (1805-1869), 3rd Baron Kenyon, at a sale of the library of Iscoyd Park, Flintshire in 1843.[1]
- The second inscription records the gift of the book to the Chapter Library in 1956 by William Urry, its Archivist and Librarian.
- The book was bound in the Cathedral Bindery by Jack Maple in 1956.
