- Inscription on fourth front free endpaper: In fulfilment of the intentions of Bishop Jebb, to whom this copy of Dr. Towson's works belonged, and who designed it for a critical student of the sacred Volumes, - these volumes, long out of print, are presented to the Rev. Thomas Brockman, Vicar of St. Clement, Sandwich, by his sincere friend Charles Forster, Feb. 1. 1826.

- Presentation label on front pastedown: Bequeathed by Rev. T. Brockman, late vicar of Saint Mary, Sandwich.
- Presented to the Rev. Thomas Brockman by Charles Forster (1789-1871), Six Preacher and former chaplain to John Jebb (1775-1833), Bishop of Limerick. Forster was the brother-in-law of Benjamin Harrison's wife Isabella.[1]
- Part of Brockman's bequest to the Chapter Library.
